How our partners help
As a volunteer, community-driven fundraising initiative, LT Housing Support relies on key people and organizations to achieve its mission of closing the funding gap.
BC Lung Transplant Program's dedicated social workers identify patients and caregivers in need.
Requests for LT Housing Support funding are channeled through the patient's Transplant Program Social Worker. They work in partnership with the BC Lung Foundation (BC Lung) and LT Housing Support. Our friends at BC Lung serve as LT Housing Support's administrative headquarters.
A registered charity, BC Lung provides the necessary accounting, administrative and communications support free-of-charge. This partnership enables LT Housing Support to re-distribute 100% of all donations directly to patients and caregivers in need. Located across from the VGH Diamond Centre, BC Lung also provides free parking to patients and caregivers for hospital visits. (Photo: BC Lung office) |
