How our patrons help

It is our friends and patrons who provide the dollars that enable LT Housing Support to fulfill its mission.
Our friends in BC's lung transplant community got LT Housing Support started.
When we first imagined LT Housing Support, we reached out to BC's lung transplant community. Every donation - no matter the size - makes a difference. Thanks to the donations from our  First 100 Founding Contributors - many of whom are lung transplant candidates, recipients and caregivers  - LT Housing Support has been able to help a half-dozen patients and caregivers in financial need.

Our patrons are now helping us build a sustainable patient legacy.
Providing a lasting resource of financial support for patients and caregivers in need hinges on the longer-term  commitments and endowments of patrons connected to our cause.
December 2020 - Founding Contributor Garin Josey, son of co-founder Dennis, donates almost $12,000.
November 2021 - BC Lung commits $15,000 for five years.
January 2022 - Garin Josey matches BC Lung's commitment of $15,000 for five years.
